MOULAGE KIT, COLOSTOMY
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of-this Commercial Item Description.
This Commercial Item Description covers a full size colostomy moulage kit suitable for use in providing demonstrations or practice in colostomy irrigation.
Salient characteristics:
The kit shall closely simulate the front abdominal region and pertinent adjacent areas of the human anatomy. The kit shall consist of three colostomy moulages simulating different stages of colostomy development. The kit shall include the following components:
a. A complete moulage with a colostomy rosebud (single-barreled) without infection around the base of the rosebud.
b. A complete moulage with a colostomy rosebud (single-barreled) having infection around the base of the rosebud.
c. A complete moulage with a colostomy loop (double-barreled) having necrotic skin edges, and a sutured laparotomy incision.
d. Carrying case
e. Instruction sheet
